A creative focused on functionality and usability, bridging code with concept. Graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Currently I am the Lead UX Designer for startup crisis management tech company, CrisisGo. I gather stakeholder requirements and build out prototypes according to user research/needs and use cases. I provide expertise in finding solutions to known pain points as well as best practices for new product development for the mobile app (Android and Apple) as well as the enterprise level web portal. Working directly with the CTO and CPO, we developed the new calender messaging tool to be released in August, 2017. I lead the product team from concept ideation to hand off of high fidelity prototype to overseas development team.
Previously, I was the Director of Website Development for Lawson Screen & Digital, a screen printing equipment manufacturer based in St. Louis. I oversaw and implemented the complete redesign of the site to a fully responsive, SEO friendly portal. In the year since the redesign and ongoing SEO, (per google analytics) the company has seen a 24% increase in sessions, 29% increase in new users, a 94% drop in bounce rate, 67% increase in pages per session, all over the company's previous highest returns. Most importantly, the company saw their ecommerce store reach it's highest gross sales ever recorded.
Since 2001 I have been designing websites for startups, small businesses, and large corporations. I have evolved from designing dynamic flash apps for the likes of Nokia, Cisco and ATT to responsive websites for small and large businesses alike. I love doing and learning new things and staying ahead of the curve.
